The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Android mobile developer that's eager to join an innovative team that emphasizes creative problem solving, fast iteration, pushing the envelope with features, and constantly looking for ways to simplify development and deployment. You'll work within a tight-knit team of a few engineers who we will rely on to deliver top-notch mobile applications.
Candidates should have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving. They should be able to take ownership of business requirements and devise and develop solutions that meet customer needs. Time to market is critical. They must be able to liaise closely with other teams to ensure a quality "look & feel" for all our applications, devising innovative solutions that reflect Nisos Technologies' brand identity while making the most of the platform's unique features.
Qualifications:
Have one or more apps in the Google Play store
Strong OOP and design skills
Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and platform
Expert level knowledge of Java
Experience launching production-ready code is a must
- 1-2 years experience with Java/C/C++ , with exposure to the full software development life cycle
- Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills, with a creative and flexible attitude
Desirable skills include:
- Experience and knowledge of Core Animation and Core Graphics
- Experience developing applications for one or more mobile platforms (iOS, BlackBerry)
- Understanding of multithreading and networking concepts
- (X)HTML, HTML5, and JavaScript experience
Interview Process:
